Now lets see...what has been going on in my life for those interested...
Valentines Day has come and gone and as usual, no valentines for me. But my friend Erich did buy me and eleven other girls a rose which was nice. And i had three people volunteer to be my Valentines although two were in Baton Rouge and one was a girl...lol. But overall it was a good day. Monday Night Worship was good. It was about Jesus's love for us. How fitting for Valentines day (see previous post). Tuesday...hmmm...trivial pursuit. The Union Board sponsored at Student v. Faculty trivial pursuit game. My team went first (wich was definetly a disadvantage) and we lost 4-3. Now my teachers know how much useless trivial knowledge i know...none. But i do know that Amazon.com use to be Abracadabra.com and Australia got rid of its two and one cent pieces. After that Lydia, Melissa, and I went to Cottingham lobby and finished watching American Idol and then watched House. Both good shows. We went back to the Union to catch the end of the Trivial Pursuit. Dr. Rayborn, Dr. Duke, Ms. Purdy, and Ms Crawford beat out Matt Cooper, Stephanie, Ty, and David Sawyer. It was close though. Brittany and I studied for our computer science test. Shaun, CJ, and John all came in and we later decided to go to taco bell. That was an experience. We piled into Shuan's Explorer...Nichole, Sarah, Brittany, and I in the back...and drove in a huge loop (because Shaun thought he was going to get gas but changed his mind) listening to Brad Paisley sing about Cuban cigars. We went to Taco Bell and after much "deliberation" made our orders. Shaun had to open his door to get the food because his window doesn't roll down. Reminds me of Daniel. Then we drove around to the gas station. John realized he hadn't gotten hot sauce so we drove back to Taco Bell. Shaun pulled in at the end of the line and when he got up to the window opened his door with a "Hey..we're back! We didn't get any hot sauce." She gave us a huge bag of hot sauce and we drove back to school and ate in EV. Shaun messed around with my phone and we read all the little messages on the sauce packets. It was fun. Finally i went to bed because i had an eight the next day.
Wednesday I took my computer science test which wasn't hard. I went back to Britt's room to tell her about the test and talked to Eric on her computer. Then I went to tennis and poli sci. I took notes for Sam because he had to leave early to go play golf. We got our test back. 87...not bad. B. Then I went and ate lunch and hung out in the game room playing ping pong and talking to Ryan for a long time. Then I had nothing better to do. I don't think i really did anything. I went back to my room for a while. Eventually it was time for the basketball games. I went and watched the Shoot Off. I sat with Joseph and Ryan who was studying psychology and with Sarah. Clint and Shaun won and Kendale and TJ got second. Brittany Strother was paired with Megan James. They did well in the beginning. Also Rushing and Nathan played together along with AJ and Kris. Kyle and Mob were a team too. Then it was time for the Showtime v. Hot Hitters. Hot Hitters in the last few seconds of the game. It was disappointing. Then it was time for our game. We lost...bad. But it was a great game. I had fun. I did get a little mad at one point, but it was just because Pink Ladies played much better than us. After i went back up to my room and studied for the rest of the night.
Today i woke up and went to speech class. I skipped chapel to study and then took my test. Turns out i'm going have to take it AGAIN because Ms. Purdy forgot to put some of the authors and stories on the test. Oh well...guess that means more study time. And guess what came in the mail today. DEFICIENCY REPORT! Yep! I have a low grade in Bio Lab which isn't cool because i usually do well in lab. The teacher is just hard. I'm gonna get better though. I want at least a B in Lab and an A in lecture. Nothing less! I will not have a C this semester! Guess that means no social time for a while. Darn...oh well. Ok thats all for now.
