Mardi Gras
So i went home for the Mardi Gras weekend. Two days off of school for nonstop parties! I love the Louisiana education system. We left school left so we had to forgo our trip to see Niky! He had senior high retreat and we weren't going to make it to Lafayette before he left. Well...let me talk about the school part before i go into the rest of the weekend. I went to biology and got my test back. Highest score in the class. woot! I was proud of myself. I just hope i can keep it up. Then after Bio I was thinkning about skipping Comp Sci because the night before all the internet was down so i couldnt' do my project. But the teacher gave us til wednesday to complete the project so i didn't skip class after all. No tennis class so i just stayed up in my room cleaning and packing and stuff. Then off to poli sci. Sam called to say he was skipping class so i needed to take good notes. It was boring anyway. After class i walked over to the Union. Sam was in there with Cory and i told them about class. Then Sam asked if i wanted to walk with him to turn in his business paper. We walked to Alex. Hall and he printed out his paper and i showed him how to work blackboard. Lauren called when Sam was in his prof. office and so i talked to her while we walked back to the Union. Sam was singing and i was laughing too much so i had to hang up with Lauren. Then i went to my room to finish cleaning and packing. NOW we get back to where i left off. We caught traffic coming into Baton Rouge so we had to go straight to Davids place. I rode with laren to Southdowns where we met up with Cody and Justin. We walked down to the church and got some red beans and rice with a Coke and cookies. The parade was ok. Nothing great. After the parade we went to TCBY to see Vin. He gave us free icecream. He's one cool kid. Sarah called Kolby and i talked to him and his friend Cody...cody is 'interesting'. lol. After TCBY Lauren and I went by a dorm to see Pierre. He was nice. We talked about the paper he has to right. It was cool. Lauren had to go babysit so i met up with Anna Sarah and David at Coffee Call where we ate some benniets (sp) and drank hot chocolate. After that we went back to David's apartment where we listened to stand up comedy and watched movies on EBaums and Killsometime.com. Daniel came in and showed us some videos on HolyLemon.com. They were funny. Some were gross though. We left and went home. The next morning i woke up and brough Zach to soccer practice then sarh and i drove over to davis and we went to Spanish Town. We got there late and had to walk a long ways so we could catch the entire parade. We caught the middle of it, but we went down to Third St. and it came by thirty minutes after we got there so it was cool. It was a long, but fun parade. Then we went to Cane's, back to Davids where we watched a Knights Tale and then home. We stopped by the store and went and ate dinner at the Engles. It's been a goood weekend so far!
