Foot Functions and Football
Today was a good day and a bad day. It started off fine...I woke up at 10:45..just in time for chapel. Daniel sang at worship. The guy speaking basically told me I was a bad person and a puppet of Satan. Oh well...he's baptist. After chapel i had math class so i ran into the cafeteria and grabbed some pizza and hauled down to math class. BORING...again. Peter set the clock five minutes ahead. I went to Lab class and after Lab Jamie and I went to Office Depot but i had left my credit card so i'll have to go back later. After that Sarah, Brittany, Courtney, and I hung out around the den drinking lemonade icees and just talking to JJ, Jeremey, and Erich. After that we saw Peter, Aaron, Wade, and Kolby coming out of the cafeteria. Peter was trying to remember a song, but we couldn't help him out. Then the rest of us went to the game room and watched Kolby and Wade play pool. The night before the boys had stolen Wades mattress and he had to sleep on his box springs. After I played Wade in pool and lost...bad! We went to dinner and ate with Jamie, Courntey, Brittany, Larry, and Jonny. After dinner we went up, changed for the game, and went to the field, practiced and got beat by the Pink Ladies. They played well and so did we. We tackled Chris after the game and poured water on him. He deserved it. All the players and Aaron hugged each other after the game instead of shaking hands, which was nice. After the game we went to Tudor. Kolby came down to bring us up to his room, but open house was almost over so we didn't go up. Instead we just sat around watching a football game and talking with Kolby and Aaron. Brittany made a new kitty friend that Eddie had found under EV on our way over. I met Jacob, a RA, and Robert, a basketball player. We went to the game room for a few seconds and then decided we wanted to go to the Foot Function after all. So we ran into Cottingham, talked to Alli and Clint for a little while, and then the four of us headed over to the church. Courtney stayed in the car and slept and Brittany, Sarah, and I went into the dance. It was so much fun. I danced! At first it was just Brittany, Sarah, and I in a little huddle just dancing and no one was really there. Then it picked up a little. We requested a George Strait song just for Aaron. He got so excited when it came on. Sarah, Brittany and I danced with Kolby to Cross My Heart. The dance went on. Ryan dragged us into the middle of the group and taught us how to dance a little. We did line dancing and danced in a group with Kendell, Chris, and AJ. I danced with Paul for a song. Then it was mainly rap music after that. In desperation I ran to Aaron and asked him if he would dance with me for the next slow dance...i had my "reason", which he knew about. So the second to last slow song, Aaron and I danced. Then i danced with Clint Dean to Lonestar and Sean cut in. Then the lights came up and we drove home and stayed up talking in my room. Good day and Bad day.
