Weekend Update

Today was going to be a good day...until it turned into a great day.
This past weekend was fun. Friday the Wackettes and my CC 100 group built forts. I rode with Zach and Jessica to Lowes to pick up some wood for our fort and helped the Wackettes string up their tarp. I also sat and relaxed while watching the Wackos hard at work putting together their log cabin. Dinner was served outside, but we ended up eating inside anyway. After dinner we finished watching the Wackos and got ready to go to Chilis. I rode with Melissa, Lydia, and Courtney. Chilis was full as was Applebees so we ended up at IHOP. I got water and french toast. We went back to campus just in time for Mission:Impossible. Our team started late but it was ok. The point of the game was to collect as many clues as possible from given locations in order to find the "artifact" without getting sprayed with silly string by guards. It was fun. We kept going to back to the one by the gym and Zach always kept getting us. Our first try was by the soccer field, but that failed too. We made it all the way to the water fountain though. Ted got us right after Courtney jumped in the fountain and got the clue. So we went back to the Union. At that time, the Wackos team was coming in. They had found the artifact. A girl said they didn't get the $100 prize unless they knew her name. None of them knew her name so Clint Land turned around and silently asked us what her name was. We told him it was Jessi, which he quickly turned around and "guessed" and she told him he got it right and they got the money. After we decided we would play with Zach since he always got us. So we stood in the middle of the road waiting for him. He saw us and ran towards us. Then we all started yelling and ran at him. He didn't know what was going on and ran in the opposite direction. Then he started spraying us and we kept going. He said we would get DQed but we kept running. He chased everyone of us down, and we told him the game was over. So he gave us the silly string and I chased him back into the Union and sprayed him. Fun times. After we went over to Tudor lobby and watched the end of Day After Tomorrow with Ryan, Carrie, Clint, and Hugh. Then around one in the morning we went and sat outside on the curb near Alexandria waiting for ETBU. We talked with Clint for a long long time...which was nice. I enjoy talking to him. Around three Clint went to bed. Aaron pulled up. He had been stuck in the mud so some people had gone to pull him out and he just came back. We stayed out there until four talking with Matt and the rest of the Wackos. Then it was bed time. Saturday morning was uneventful. Around three we drove over to the stadium. Not a lot of people were there so we drove by the abandoned house. We are going back next Saturday to explore it more. We went back to the field and hung out just sitting and talking in the car for another hour. At four we got out and went and tailgated. We ate hamburgers, threw around the football, and listened to Linkin Park. At five we started the painting. I painted Peter Allen with a big U. He said it looked good. I put "ETBU Sucks" on his back too. I also painted LC on Kirk. Then it was time for the game. We lost in overtime. oh well...The six of us (Melissa, Lydia, Courtney, Jamie, Sarah, and I) drove over to the movie theater to see The Grudge, but it was sold out so we just went to Taco Bell and watched the Italian Job in my room. Sunday I woke up around noon, went to Wind in the Willows, played some pool, ate dinner with Donovan, Sarah, Courtney, Aaron and Wade, wrote a little of my paper, went to football practice in Walden gym, rode in the security car with Karl, and studied biology with Kobly, Wade, and Sarah. Kolby has Rachel <3's Kolby on his arm. I played a little more pool...and then the fun began. It started to rain really hard so Courtney and I ran out to play in the rain. At first we were scared because of the lightning, but it quit so we went out front and splashed around in the puddle. Then we had the idea that we should go swimming in the fountain in front of Alexandria...so we did. It was fun. I almost fell playing in it. Then we ran back to the Union dripping wet. It was cool. Well thats about it for this weekend...too fast. The next few weekends are going to be packed! MC game, Mom's weekend, Halloween, and tons of other things. I'll update when i get the chance. Until then, thanks for reading. Toodles
