Leesville and Woodworth
Friday night, Stephanie came down and spent the night at LC. We played Texas Hold Em with Skittles and Tootsie Rolls, which i ended up losing for the most part. After an hour or so of playing and over forty tootsie rolls and countless skittles, i was down to my last four of each. Oh well. It was fun. After we went over to First UMC Alexandria where Hannah was staying the night with the rest of the jr. high going to fall convo. It was so much fun to see her again. We played hide and go seek and ate and talked. We left around one sometime, i believe. Anyway that was Friday night. Saturday morning we woke up and headed over to the conference center. It was great seeing everyone again. I saw Jessi Bennet, Nik, Krislynn, Bobby, Tristan, Mark, Carter, Justin, Alyson, Megan, Trey, Vicki, Mr. Dave, Micheal Kaluss, Austin (but i didn't get to talk to him), of course all the jr. high from the night before with Andree, and Andrew. Oh and Abe. Around 12:30 we left to pick up Courtney and head to Leesville. We had to call Peter because we got a little lost and by the time we got there the parade was over. Oh well. We walked around for almost two hours. Peter said from where we parked to the football stadium was over a mile and a half so i walked over three miles Saturday. Go me! We just went down the street, walked around the jr high school, and looked at different things they had. We didn't know who was speaking or when they were, but we left before so we could get back in time to eat. Turned out it was Blanco speaking. I laughed. All those repubilcans...showing up for Blanco. lol. Thats great. Anyway the rest of the night was fairly uneventful. I played pool and ping pong, watched Mona Lisa Smile and the Count of Monte Cristo, and just did whatever. Oh and Wade came with us to church yesterday. That was exciting since he hadn't been to church in a long time. We checked out Calvary and i really like the service. The Sunday School wasn't that great. Anway i have to go run a mile and a half to try and test out of PE. Wish me luck. I have to make it in 11 minutes 30 seconds. I doubt it. Well, until next time....toodles!
