An evening in Hattiesburg with JP
Went and (finally) spent the night over in Hattiesburg with JP. We've been trying for a few years to get me over there.
Loaded up the bike and made the two hour trek over. The weather was perfect. Made it over and we went over to some friends of his for a final summer swim.... we'll that didn't happen since the water was way too cold. But I did get an ankle in while JP made it up to his waist.
Back home for a power nap, then a nice walk to downtown for a great dinner and drinks, and back home for SNL. Very funny show but could not make it thru the whole thing before I headed off to the sun room that was my mine to sleep in. Oh, wow did I sleep, and it was wonderful waking up on my own with the sun lighting up the whole room with this great glow.
Did a little tour of the town, and I had to head back here to go to a Saints game party. Didn't end up like we wanted, but the party was fun.
Had a great time JP! We'll do it again.
