Impatient
So, I'm in Chicago... And I've been here a week and it's different. I really like this city of Chicago, there is so much to do! But... no one to do it with. I start work on Monday and hopefully will make some friends quick. I say it's different b/c it's just a different life I guess. I am used to being surrounded by my friends and I really miss that. But at the same time I'm glad to be on my own. Just kinda lonely and adjusting to this change.
But on the positive side. I'm finding it easier than I thought to find my bearings in the city, and I don't get lost nearly as much as I thought I would. Jason's coming next weekend to see his brother Tim. And I get to see him too! I already have two doctors in Chicago-- an Ear Nose Throat and an Internist... OK, long story short, I'm happy to be in Chicago but I wish I had some friends already and constantly had something to do. This sitting around thing just isn't me. But this journal is now being fed into Facebook. We'll see how I like that, haha.
...But now I'm going to entertain myself somehow?
