Ok. As far as I know, I'm caught up on everything but management, and that is ok.
So far some highlights of the semester have been getting Chris Cloud pretty mad at me, one awesome moon-lit hike with Chelsa and Stephanie, one crazy awesome dayhike with Chelsa, and lots of hanging out with Miss Laura Crago.
Let's see... It is kind of a monthly tradition to go hiking every month on the full moon, at least until it gets too dangerous to go... It consists of Chelsa and myself most definitely and we like to take along whoever is game. The next full moon is the 18th. Beacon Heights is a really good place to go, although I have heard that there are better places to go for moon-lit hikes. Must remember this. The dayhike with Chelsa was a first for me, but we had some good times. I felt so outdoorsy, even though I really wasn't? We parked her car at Price Park and then drove my car to the Rough Ridge parking lot and hiked from Rough Ridge parking to Price Park. This took place on Labor Day and thankfully it was absolutely gorgeous. I took a bunch of pictures water and bridges and plants and yeah. It was a nine mile hike--and we did it. Although, we did get lost, but it's ok. We're both back safe and sound. I ended up with a wet shoe b/c i dropped it into the pool of water at the creek where we ate lunch. Chelsa was an awesome Labor Day date and that's all I can say about it.
This past weekend has been fabulous--even though I played A LOT of catch up Sunday night. It wasn't such a good night then. But Friday after Abrams's class, Chelsa and I went to Price Park to lay and just relax and lay in the sun. Then a bunch of people--Jeb, his cute too young roommate Thomas, Laura, Ashley, Chelsa, Pam, and me went to see 40 Year Old Virgin. It was SUCH a cute movie. Although the virgin reminded me of Chris Cloud the way he talked. After the movie, we all hung out at Alan's. Some poker playing, drinking, telling of life stories, you know... Just standard sit around and chill. Some of us ventured over to the Old Jailhouse. I know what it looks like upstairs now! That was exciting :-) And they had a turn table person at the Old Jailhouse and that was awesome. I'd never seen one in real life before and it was cool. I also saw Andy there, which was cool. And I met this guy who was literally 6'10" and had a brother who was that big too! I met him when I turned and saw an elbow.
Saturday I worked for 9 hours at the shitty kitty. I like working there. It's not bad. I still miss my people from Winn Dixie though... The Food Lion people are nicer and more laid back, and the customers are generally nicer as well, so it's not so bad. And the pay is really good. After work, I met with David Costa, Ashley, and Erin at Ashley's for Promotions class. Which we have on Friday at 9, BUT my management class at 10 got turned into a "reading day." So poo on that because I still have to get up early that day. But yeah, after that, I had dinner and then Laura and I went over to Brian Grossman's to hang out. A nalgene of long island iced tea for Laura and a half of a nalgene of makeshift amaretto sour (about 10 ounces of amaretto, no where near enough sour, and a can of sprite) for me. It was good times to just hang out. Brian Grossman's cute, I still think. If he were single I think I'd try to take advantage of that... haha. But yeah, he's not single, so that's a no... I also fell asleep at Brian's. Ok, so I passed out for a bit. I made it home and it was kinda sketch coming home. I didn't want to be coming back to my apartment b/c we could have been followed. But stupid Alan had already gone to sleep =P
Sorry this entry is so spacey... I've just been kinda spacey lately. I'm trying to shake this whole Chris Cloud thing, but things just keep coming up and yeah, it's irritating. I mean, I'm not pursuing him anymore, but the thought of it is just so disappointing. But you know what, it's my senior year and I should take advantage of that. I kinda wish I hadn't told Chris Cloud everything that I'd told him. Well, I don't feel bad about having him get mad at me. I did the right thing. The other thing, well, I dunno. I might be a little better off now if, I dunno. I shouldn't care. There, I don't care. At least not about Chris Cloud issues.
This is like a paper with an introduction and a conclusion. That is what schooling has done to me. And this is gonna be my crappy conclusion. I look forward to Tuesday night at Geno's with Erin, the Jump show on Thursday, the football game on Saturday, and I believe I will be going on a moon-lit hike Sunday night :-D So yeah, life is really freakin busy but good. Don't expect another real update til like Fall Break. Just kidding, I hope.
