They're driving me crazy. I did not sign up for this, and I honestly don't think that I should be responsible for them.
For those of you who don't know, my current host family has 3 small dogs. They're French Cotons named Cookie, Oscar, and Brando. They're all on very different, very strict diets for various health problems. Oscar is on 5 daily medications, Cookie has 1. They all like to pee all over the house, the two boys make puddles and Cookie walks for the stream-like effect.
The family has been in Spain for almost a week and I have been left with the dogs. Not only do I have to take care of all of their dietary and medical needs, they all need to be walked. Since they fight each other, I can only walk one at a time. Walking the dogs generally takes me about 2.5 hours. I can only walk Brando if I'm sure there's no one around because he's very vicious. I have to take water and a little bowl for Oscar and give him water every 10 minutes because he gets severely dehydrated due to medical problems. I have too keep Cookie away from the grass and bushes because she eats poop and plants and gets very sick (lots of vomiting which is directly linked to her bladder.)
Today Cookie was my last walk because I can take her into the post room to pick up the mail. The mail is no longer delivered to the house because Brando has inflicted various injuries on several postofficers, including removing the lower joint from the pinky finger of one. Well, while I was pulling the mail out of the box, Cookie decided to take a crap on the floor. While I was getting out a little poopy bag to clean it up, she ate it. On the walk home she vomited and peed. Normally this would make me happy because we were outside, so no clean up. Normally, but this time she got my feet. With both. And I was still a good 5 minutes from home. Now the smell won't come off my feet. I've washed them a couple of times. I just threw out the shoes I was wearing, I'm not even going to try with them.
I hate these dogs.
