His name is Sebrahn. In the book Shadows Return by Lynn Flewelling, there's a character named Sebrahn whose coloring is similar to my new fish. It means "moonlight" in the main characters' native language. I was planning on giving the name to one of my dolls, but I changed my mind for that doll and it fits my new fishie so well. I am so happy. Erin helped me get him into his new home today. And I watched The Boondock Saints, finally. Pictures behind the cut!
Anyway. I'm happy. He's my new little buddy. He'll get used to me in a few days.
By the way, the ride was awesome. I always mean to write about these things and never do. Sigh. Well, it rocked, as usual. I was so excited Kyle got to come; it was really fun working with him and Melissa and Mathias. It was also his first time in the city, so it was cool to run around and show him all the sights.
Also went to the con. Shouldn't have, but did, and had a blast which I now have to pay for, hah. Kelsey saved all our asses (mostly mine) financially, but we had one hell of a time. Kelsey bought a BJD. I am disgustingly jealous. But I've made him a ton of clothes and it's gotten me way more psyched up to save for one (or five... which is how many I now have planned and have personalities and names for... yeeeah....).
I'm going to be a bridesmaid in Rebecca's wedding this May. I am really excited. I've taped my BioLife card to the wall and written "Beka's Wedding" on it so I don't touch it. She's getting married in Aurora. I'll have to save enough to fly out there, stay somewhere, and buy my dress and stuff. At $200 a month, I should be able to manage. Kinda sets me back as far as saving for dolls goes, but it's Rebecca's wedding, for chrissakes. I can wait.
Anyway, I have a fish. Yay.
