I'll be starting my drive to Denton early tomorrow morning. My mom is coming with me, which will help make the drive a bit more bearable. I'm excited! It will be nice to see the place that I will be living for the next 3-4 years, if not longer. Of course, gas prices had to jump 10 cents before I embark! Oh well! Not much to be done about that one. And my car is supposed to get 40+mpg on the highway, so hopefully it will live up to its advertisement. This will be my car's first *real* roadtrip, because driving to Colorado Springs and to Crested Butte just don't count.
I had a customer complain about how "hot and muggy" it was here today. I think the high got to be in the upper 80s and I can't imagine that the humidity rose much over 12%. That's nothing, humidity wise. People like her crack me up. I wonder how she'd take living in my hometown for a week or so. Or even somewhere closer to the ocean. I'm sure they're about the same as P'ville.
