Sore throat of DOOM. Blah. At least the cold medicine I took seems to be doing something. Still gotta go to work later. Thankfully it's just a half day.
My brother and I watched "Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind" last night. Very much like "Princess Mononoke;" they have the same major theme, but "Nausicaa" takes the concept a little farther. For instance, the movie takes place in a post-apolcolyptic Earth and "Mononoke" is set before pollution and all that ruins the earth. It's amazing how much Miyazaki can fit into his movies. And I think I've officially seen all of his movies now, thanks to my brother. He got me hooked about a year ago.
I owe my mom some money from our Costco excursion last night. I also need to begin examining my options to furnish my future apartment. Using a mattress only as a bed doesn't sound like the greatest, but it may have to happen at first. A desk and dresser are a bit more important at the moment. Sometimes I really wish I could grow money. That would be fantastic. And it would give that poor visa platinum of mine some rest. Oh well. Someday....
