mini vacation
Today I was just having a yucky day, actually a whole blah week, so I thought I would treat myself to a nice little mini vacation to try to cheer up. So today I drove to St. Louis for a day of shopping and fun. But the drive there was horrible because of the rain, at one point I was behind two semi-trucks and was blinded by the mist. I thought I was going to die, but I didn't so yay!
In St. Louis bought myself some new clothes even though I don't have much money, but I figured it's okay because people don't worry about money on vacation, and it was nice. At Forever-21 (my favorite store and personal attitude) a cute gaysian rung me up, and I enjoyed the sights of my mini-day-away.
Then finally I ended my day at a tanning salon in Columbia. I never wanted to leave the booth, it felt just like a day at the beach; so relaxing, warm, and just all around nice. And as an additional plus I got a tan. I can tell because I have tan lines (I wore my knickers to protect my fragile derrière from a burn ~you only make that mistake once~).
And that was my day long escape from crappy reality.
