A book that makes you sad - The Iliad is probably the closest I can come to actual sadness at a book. I actively try and avoid angsty, hopeless, or sad endings, so I’m not sure. Life has enough tragedy without me volunteering to be exposed during relaxation time.
Most underrated book - Watership Down
Most overrated book - The Audacity of Hope as well as 1984, Catcher in the Rye, a bunch of other books labeled as “classics” or “literature” that simply tear down the human spirit instead of building it up - this does not apply to Audacity, but I didn’t care for it either.
A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving - The Taming of the Shrew
