Look, a birthday-themed story for my birthday. This was not actually supposed to be two parts, but I ended up spending most of my birthday sitting in traffic and so didn't have time to finish. But I wanted to post today to complete my fic-a-day thing. (I know it's after midnight. Shush.)

Timeline: I don't know, some birthday of Josh's when he's dating Amy. I'm not sure there IS one that would work, but it's really not important.
"Oh, my God," Josh moaned. "This is amazing. This is - you - how did you - "
Donna grinned at him. "I'm glad you like it."
"You made this up?" Josh asked as he took another bite of cake.
"Well, I based it off of a few recipes, but I . . . put it all together, yeah."
"You're incredible."
"Well, apple cake is pretty common, but it usually doesn't have frosting," Donna explained. "So I found a peanut butter frosting recipe from something else."
"Still. Brilliant," Josh insisted. "This is the best birthday cake I've ever had."
"Let's not tell your mother you said that," Donna suggested.
"Yeah. Good point." Josh took another bite and moaned a little. "But seriously. Best cake ever. You have to make this for me every year for the rest of my life."
"Uh, that could probably be arranged." Donna wondered if he realized he had just implied that she was going to be around to bake for him for the rest of his life.
Josh moaned his way through another bite. "This is - this is practically better than sex."
Donna arched an eyebrow at him. "Even my cake is not that good. Clearly you're not having the right kind of sex."
"And what kind of sex should I be having, Donnatella?"
"Ah - "
Just then, Toby appeared in the doorway, saving Donna from answering. "Josh, Leo needs you for the thing . . . Is that cake? Can I have some?"
"No!" Josh said fiercely. "It's mine."
