(no subject)
My still rather new (as in, only had for about a month) Blackberry Curve fell in the toilet yesterday. After a night of drying on the heater, with the battery out, it seems to be functioning properly again. That's a big "THANK GOD!!!" of relief.
Since I received my paycheck in the mail this morning, I'm off to take the kids to lunch and then to Trader Joe's. I'm really feeling in a spendy mood, so I think a little Etsy browsing this evening is in order. Anyone see anything cute (home furnishing or kid clothes- wise) recently? I need picture frames and wall art, pottery, and spring clothes for the kids.
Lydia is obsessed with oatmeal. Did you now this? She absolutely will not get out of bed unless I have made oatmeal. Finally, at 7 yo, I've decided that she is old enough to make it herself. So, for the last week or so, she's gotten up EARLY to make the oatmeal for the family. Do you know how wonderful it is to linger in bed while the little ones do the work? I'm working on upping Holden's responsibilities as well. Now that I work weekends, my time is limited, so involvement from everyone is key to keeping our family going. They've really responded to it.
Tonight I plan to go out with friends and eat yummy food and drink alcohol-y drinks. Yay!
