Mudthaw recap
Mudthaw seemed to go very well yesterday. I spent my morning in the kitchen helping D with her delicious dayboard, and then snuck outside for a bit to watch the fighters, hang out with fencing friends, and flirt where I could.
I got to see a lot of people, which was very cool. The babies are getting bigger and they're still as cute as ever.
I didn't bother bringing my fencing gear because I knew I had volunteered to work a lot of the event. Kind of silly to bring it and not use it, right?
I served feast with friends and had fun. Of course, I had to warn Malcolm away from flirting with the crazy lady. Although, it was very entertaining. :) Edmund dragged me into the dancing, which I haven't participated in for about 12 years.
And, I caught sight of a new guy who could be fun to flirt with. Of course, being told his name is "Eric the Naked", for his habit of doffing his clothing at the drop of a hat, is a little disconcerting, but could be fun to play with.
I was exhausted by the end of the night and slept in quite a bit today. I skipped the Flemington practice, but since I was told we've got a new site starting up soon, I'm very excited about that!
