Film Festival has been going well:

Wednesday was the Works of Sadie Benning, which was a little bit inaccessible but generally ruled, and the imagery was awesome.

Senorita Extraviada: Missing Young Women was absolutely disturbing, but one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. It's about the women of Juarez, Mexico who work in the factories and get sold off to be murdered and raped or kept as sex slaves...three hundred women since 1998, and they still haven't found any of the killers. Its unbelievable. Such a good documentary, and such a sad story.

Today I watched part of The Circle, which was really good, what I saw of it. I had to leave early to get to my bass lesson in New Brunswick, I'll probably rent it and finish it.

Last night I went to see the Mike Vax/Stan Kenton Orchestra Alumni Big Band. It ruled. They were totally amazing. I had to leave early though, because I had to study for my bio test today. Which sucked, cause I didn't do all that well. But the band was really impressive.
