Jersey, Some More
I found some Jersey City people on the craigslist, and I am moving in with them. In... five days. Fortunately I was already semi-packed, so this week won't be QUITE as insane as it could be. Friday my mom is coming to visit, and this weekend will be full of celebrations for my birthday. And unpacking.
Tonight I had dinner on the roof, because it is gorgeous outside. I'll miss the roof, probably more than anything else about this place. And the ceiling fans. BUT I'll have central air, a not-tiny room, dishwasher, and less expensive rent. Living with people who are essentially total strangers should be an adventure. But hey, if we end up hating each other, at least I won't be losing a friend, and they both seem pretty chill, so I don't think that'll happen anyway.
Thursday night was This American Life LIVE which David got us tickets for because he's awesome. And it was awesome! Dan Savage made everyone cry, and Joss Whedon sang a song. Oh, and we were in the 2nd freaking row. I hope they decide to do this annually, I love being that much of a nerd.
