Oh, Live Journal, I have missed you.
I have been super busy lately between work and school and life in general. BUT! I like my journal, so I am going to get back to using this thing. So, what's new?
- I am back on weight watchers. I have been pretty successful so far, losing 6 lbs in 7 weeks. We got a new leader for our at work meetings. It was time for a change, I liked our old leader but you can only hear the same stuff so many times. She was here for 5 years, which is just slightly longer than I have been here and attending WW. It was getting repetitive. So that was a good thing, the bad thing is that I don't like the new lady. She is pushy and shuts down our good conversations (boo). Plus her scale said that I gained 3.6 lbs last week. I would have to be eating horrible things and all the time for that to happen and I tracked and I didn't eat that bad last week, so I think it was her scale being different than our old leader. I don't like that either. I am thinking about going to the Thursday night meetings that are a few blocks from my house. Plus, it doesn't hurt to meet some new people either, right? I might pop in to see what's up.
- I am in my 3rd semester at Carlson. I am taking Financial Management and Negotiation Strategies this semester. I have to say that I enjoy both classes, but summer classes are hard to sit through. I might only take one class next summer. Only 6 semesters left! I feel like this will never end...
- I have not been knitting at all lately. I really need to pick that back up soon. I did enter the 5 things into the fair this year that I did knit - a headband, a purse, a capelet, socks (of course), and a shawl. We'll see what happens in a couple weeks. Can't believe the last post on here was from the fair last year.
- We are growing a patio garden this year again:
I wonder if there is any place in Chaska you can rent a plot of land? Curious. I am going to try making my own tomato sauce this year and Matthew will can it.
Puppies are good, I'll have more to say later!
