OKAY. So, I just finished writing.. THREE papers for my philosophy class. and realized I typed through both my morning classes without realizing what time it was... :/
how wierd. I never thought I would get so involved in my writing that I would not pay attention to time or anything. hahah
Anyways, the presidential debate on friday was pretty helpful. It was pretty full too. I learned a lot about some of the policies without the emotional connectioin and that's what I need so that I can make the decisioin without the influence of the media. On our sheet of homework for the debate I was looking at the part where we describe setting for the debate and all that jazz. Well, during the debate it looked like Obama's tie was a maroon..ish color and McCain's was like red and white striped...so. it reminded me of candy canes..and then christmas...and then santa? So, I'm a little confused. hahah and as for Obama.. maroon is a reddish purple.. and purple symbolizes royalty and spirituality and is said to be a mysterious color (i looked this up) and red is apparently a .."hot" color. It represents a range of conflicting emotion of passionate love and violence..and the meaning on the website directly states that red IS cupid and the devil.
so, therefore here's my conclusion:
We've got a Santa-Man vs. a Mysterious Cupid/Devil???
