Happy holidays everyone. Did you all have a good Santa Day? I had an awesome day of rest, and made us a super yummy Ham again this year. I sense a tradition!
My new years resolution is to blog more. My poor City Girl Gone Country blog has been neglected since we moved in here in May (although I may have blogged about my iBook woes) and I'm damned sick of myself ignoring it. I got a cupcake decorating book off Trev the Baker @ the Bakery and Mum gave me a new apron (hand painted) with cupcakes all over it. If that's not a SIGN I don't know what is. (Heehee I also got a COMPLETELY COMPUTERISED AND WIRELESS WEATHER STATION for Santa Day. Best Present in AGES. I love it to bits and love it so much I've already set it up although I don't have appropriate places outside for all the bits. YAY!)
I've got four whole days off this weekend. And in fact, I've got SEVEN over 10 days! I'm stoked :) I reckon my arse is gonna be sore from all the sitting around doing NOTHING that I'm intending to do! Yesterday was old movies on the ABC, today so far it's been the Cricket (a boxing day institution if there ever was one), the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race (which I'm about to flip over to in 2 minutes) and possibly back to the ABC for more old movies :D There's also been fic catching up (although I've already covered that today. . . . ) and some stitching (cross-stitching) *gasp*. I'm also going to try and do some more stitching in the new year. Set it up in the living room so I've actually got a lamp I can use of a night time, I reckon.
