Perth, I is coming.
So, I have tickets booked for my trip to Perth. I'm arriving in the afternoon of the 3rd June, and leaving as soon as the day turns from the 13th to the 14 June (yes, midnight flight out). I will indeed be mostly busy as it's a family time (Mum's 60th) but I'm sure that I could catch up with people if people are around :)
In other news, all the staff at the bakery almost walked out today, and we got collectively screamed at by the owner, after we were to have shut, but apparently not before they reckoned we were shutting. I'll be going in tomorrow and speaking with both managers about what happened today, and if it turns out not so well, well, I'll be leaving when I go away to Perth. I've got work starting down in Melbourne possibly in mid-June, at latest early July, so I'm not OVERLY concerned, just a bit. Would like confirmation of the mid-June start date before I do anything, but hell, as soon as I have that I'm giving a bit STFU.
Can I just interrupt this to say OMG I had forgotten how BLISS is Lindt Lindor dark chocolate squares, with the smooth fondant centre. OMG *droools* Must eat more.
Man, I have had the worst three days at work. I've been picked on by either the AA or BB (AA being D, the owner and BB, M, his wife) or both within minutes of each other on two days actually. Friday was a bad day to start with: I almost fainted at work, my period started (the reason for the near fainting, and other things) and I got rounded out completely by BB. That ended in tears, thanks to the massive jolt of hormones I had that day. (Buggers.) The rest of the weekend has just been a test of patience, which I ran out of today.
Hmph.
More chocolate required!!!! :D
Also, I am cutting all my hair off on Saturday. Going short and shaggy again :) My hair is quite long these days, down to my shoulder blades, so it will be a shock, and it will be wonderful to be able to have short hair again. I've enjoyed my long hair, but it's not in that good nick, I'm shedding all over the place, and that is annoying. Short yeah!! (I can share photos if anyone's interested, although I think you're basically all on facebook now anyway.)
