Wow, it’s been a lot longer than I’d realized.  :-/  Oops?

Happy is that I finally bought my house (well townhouse style condo) and the weeks of awful leading up to it have now proven to be well worth the headaches and heartburn.  And, believe me I had my fair share of both.  An incompetent loan officer can really screw you over at every turn and I ( Read more... )

Lol! Thanks! I'm so glad to finally be done with it all. Feels like it took ages. But, it was totally worth it! Even with the awful loan officer. Though, I'll never work with that particular company again and neither will my real estate agent's company nor will the few lawyers I had to get involved.

NaNoWriMo was a good challenge for me. I did about 3,000+ words a day to be done on the 17th (I like to be done before Thanksgiving) and just plowed through to the end and oh, how I hated the story by the end of the first week or so. But, it felt great on the 18th when I didn't have to sit down to write. :-D I did about 2,000 words a day last year and probably hated the story only slightly less so. (I just re-read it and decided it wasn't nearly as awful as I'd remembered which is a plus.) I'll probably do it again next year but will hope to have a better outline by then. :-)

32,000 words is wonderful! Especially considering how many other things you have going on! There are a lot of people who don't make it past the first few thousand. :-D

I know I've not been around much but I hope to be around more now that I'm finally settled. I hope all has been going well with you! I haven't had much time to catch up yet so apologies if I missed some huge awful thing. >.<;;
