Not Panicking (At least not as much as I was...)

Okay, I’ve learned a couple things over the past couple weeks… the busier I am the more I seem to want to spend time writing (and surprisingly I seem to find time to write when I’m the most busy, go figure.) I guess it goes with the whole adage of if you want to get something done give it to someone who’s busy… Yeah, I guess I’m kind of like that…

Anyway, on to the update. I sent my lesson plans in on Monday so all I really have left to do is to pack, clean and all those little things one has to do before leaving the country for a year… Ugh, so much to do! (But I seem not to want to do it…) I’m still working but Friday is my last day, after that I’ll be able to pack and clean full time. Must make lists and a timeline so I don’t end up crunched - the parents are having a farewell party on the 17th which is nice, but not well timed since I’ll be flying out at 6:50am the next morning. Ugh. I really wish this part of the process was all over with and that I was already in Japan and teaching…

Right, so moving on to what people probably care more about, my writing. I’ve sent chapter twenty-one and two longer one shots to the betas… Depending on if I can get something back from one or both of them I might be able to get something posted before I go. Once I have left the country I have no idea how internet connected I will be (at least at first) so I will have no idea how long it will be before I get myself up and running and or posting. If my apartment doesn’t have internet, then it could be 4-6 weeks before I can get it installed. Flarg. I’m so internet dependent that will just kill me! Fingers crossed!
