Crap. The prom date could be iffy. (Parents don't 'trust' him, or all 17 yr old boys)

I hope he doesn't just not go.

I'm sorry about your brother. While I firmly believe that prom is not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be (well, at least considering it's just his junior year), I know he's down about it. If he doesn't end up going, don't let him stay at home.

Don't think he is going now. Mom told him to go even if he didn't have a date, but I don't think he will.

But, all his friends are going to prom, so its not like he will have anything to do that night, either.
