two things, completely unrelated:
the valedictorian of fairfield's '04 class died three days before graduation. i can't even imagine the pain that that class is feeling right now. i didn't know him, just recognized the picture, but by all accounts he seems like an amazing guy. graduation must have been beyond difficult. it's not fitting for me to talk about it anymore, since i didn't know him at all.
side note, my fairfield friends and i discussed that something terrible has happened every semester that we've been in college. 9/11, hostages, war, and earlier this semester a boy studying abroad fell off a bridge during spring break, and just recently went home after being in a coma. i don't like the trend.
and second thing, i finished the da vinci code in 10 hours.
