so its been almost forever since i updated. sorry. summer has come and gone. trips have been taken. friends have been made. love is in the air. ok. now i'm just saying stuff. lets recap the summer---world changers. birmingham alabama. lots of fun. worked on a roof. it was hot enough to bake cookies up there, so we did. it looked interesting. the worship band was awesome. they're called Seraph. you should check them out at burningcoalministries.com. i really enjoyed that week and met some awesome people. on to the next trip. super summer. this is the trip i look forward to the most each summer. its a church camp that has been referred to as "bible boot camp" i've also heard some people promote it by saying "send us your best and we'll send them back better" its just awesome. lots of deep hardcore bible study and worship. the people there are amazing. some of the most Godly people i've ever met in my life. its one trip i wish would never end. and now for my final trip of the summer-youth music camp and all state choir tour. camp was fun. i got to meet all the people i was in choir with. we rehearsed about 5 hours a day and had other classes between rehearsals. it was tiring. but so much fun. we left from camp at 4 saturday morning to start tour. tour was amazing. exhausting, but amazing. we started doing concerts on saturday night and had one everyday (exept tuesday) and we had 2 on sunday. we got to see a bunch of cool stuff while we were in luisiana too. the longfellow evangiline state historic site, the one and only tabasco company in the world. cafe du monde, new orleans baptist theological siminary, streetcar ride through the new orleans garden district, walk down bourbon street, shopping in the french quarter, airboat ride on a bayou, laura plantation. lots of stuff. i got to eat blackened alligator, and i held i live 2 1/2 year old alligator. that was cool. it was a fun trip. i wish i could do it again, but its only for high school students, and in 3 1/2 weeks i'll officially be a college student. woohoo!
