ok. so i dont think i've mentioned this before... I finally picked a college-Hannibal LaGrange College. lots of stressed relieved. and i also auditioned for the illinois baptist all state choir and 2 different preforming groups at college. so here's a recap of auditions and maybe some other stuff.
i had my auditions at hannibal yesterday. they went pretty well. i auditioned for two different groups. the first is called "praise song" its a group of 11 people (male and female), 4 or 5 people who only sing, a few people who play in the band and a few who both sing and play. my audition for that was really great. i think i sounded really good on my song, and my vocalizing was really great too. my second audition was for "covenant" which is a group of 6 girls. this audition didnt go so great. this audition was more choral style, whereas the praise song audition was contemporary/pop all the way. i definately had problems with the choral stuff because i was starting to lose my voice, and i cant sing choral style at all when i'm losing my voice. but it still wasnt a bad audition. all in all, it was a good day. i got to see the campus again, and took a little tour of the newly finished missions building. that was fun. and i finally turned in all of my paperwork to the admissions office, so i'm officially a student there. I'll register for my classes on May 12. i'm excited.
i should find out my march 7 if i made the illinois baptist all state choir. and i'll find out the results of my auditions yesterday the first week of april.
2 months and 21 days until my last day of high school. 2 months and 23 days until graduation. i cant wait.
