ode to my blister and other interesting stupid things
So I was making dinner one night this week (might have been tuesday) and burned myself on one of those wonderful box potato things. well it has to boil and it splashed me. I noticed last night where the burn was that it had blistered. I am normally a picker/poker. You know the people who say hey I have a bruise and poke at it saying that hurts. well I was morbidly facinated with it all night. kinda sad really. but now it has a devil ducky bandaid on it and maybe I will leave it alone.... for now.
In other news: my boss is doing stuff that is gonna get him in serious trouble. He's no longer just playing with me or my so called co WORKer. The bank called stating that was was overdrawn by a significant amount and they were going to close his business account if he doesn't rectify it. Some how he got them to back down, but here's the thing. he still hasn't paid his laundrymat employees (they were supposed to get paid on this past Monday) and he still owes me money from my paycheck from last week. We have another pay check supposed to be due soon and I don't think I am getting that on time either. The employees at the laundrymat are threatening to turn him in to the labor board and I am the one they are blaming. I tell them I have no power really, but they don't seem to understand how it works in this office. I don't understand how it works in this office anymore. He must have someone higher up in the system for him to get away with all this.
He's operating a business without an occupational license and has been for 5+ years. He's Still adminstering Cobra with out the new ARRA info on the letters (which is federal). He's not paying his payroll taxes because he was NSF when the payroll company tried to debit them from the account. He hasn't paid his personal taxes since 2005, nor his business ones either. He demands his payments on time but everyone else can wait including his employees. I am tired of him. I hate insurance business. I don't want to ever work in it again. I don't care if you can make money in it, I am so done once I find something new.
My car seems to be making wierd noises and for some reason decides that when I have my left turn blinker on to play with me. It will blink left then for no reason blink right... then hazard then back to left... but goes back the left only when I notice that it's doing something stupid. I can't fathom why, nor do I think it does it when Hubby is driving. I think it hates me.
I should be getting a new laptop (that I bought before stupid boss started doing really stupid things) whenever it's done "processing". Should be fun. I am kinda looking forward to the graphics in wow looking much cooler and not so stop animationish.
well I need to get to work. Stupid renewals. not like he's going to look at them. blah I am cranky.
