Another broken window....
So I was sitting on the couch the other day and looked over because I heard the blinds moving behind my desktop machine. Funny thing was it wasn't my cat.... I got curious and wandered over to look and it was..... ANOTHER BROKEN WINDOW!!!
I have gotten to the point where it isn't just a mild anoyance. My cat sits at that window to watch the world go by, and there is glass on the floor?!?! ugh!
So needless to say I am saving all my mileage money (yes I was originally saving it for christmas and vacation money but...) so that we can move as soon as humanly possible.
The people in the neighborhood have no respect for others. All last week it was the car outside the house with the radio turned up to the point where my mattress would vibrate...and the "music" sounded like when you played a record at a slower speed than it was supposed to be... not to mention it was the same song over and over and over... you get the picture.
Then I yelled at the kids for using our water to play in (not that I minded but they didn't ask us and they tend to leave it on, making out landlord's water bill very high, which might be why he raised the rent). They laughed and ran off, I think they came back when I was in the living room later.
My yard looks like they took our garbage and just threw it everwhere. Not to mention that someone has taken to drinking right outside our back door. Leaving the bottles there, I again don't mind so long as they throw away the damn bottles!!
Needless to say I told Hubby that we are moving as soon as humanly possible. I also suggested that we might want to start looking so we know the prices that are out there. But Dammit!!! I just didn't think that the neighborhood would treat us so badly. I never did anything to anyone out there, unless you count asking (yes I asked not told) the kids to stay off things that could hurt them... Gah!!!
And now I must make the monies to be able to afford the move!!
