Allie (my 13 year old sis): You never trust me! I am just going to a dance, I won't be doing anything bad.
Sarah (step mom): We just have to be in your face so we know what you are doing at all times.
Allie: Thats dumb! Cairsten gets away with SO much!
(meanwhile i innocently look up and say): HEY! lets not bring cairsten up, i DID get into college and all...
Sarah: oh Allie..we know way more than cairsten thinks we do, we arent THAT naive, i mean..bud light cans dont just pop out of no where.
oh man. what a night. haha.
and later....
Dad: Cairsten, are you going out tonight
Caire: Yeah dad, in this snow storm..i'm going to canada for the kicks..
Dad: well..just set the alarm on your way in.
yay.
