This is absolutely one of my favorite moments in the whole of the movies as Frodo challenges Aragorn, "Or would you destroy It?" and Aragorn closes Frodo's hand about It and leaves him to go on, chancing himself for Frodo's escape. May not be book canon, but I do love it nevertheless! Thank you!
I pray also for your friend's wife. I hope to learn Thursday the result of a friend's operation on the ninth. She had to have a mitral valve repaired, and was getting most anxious when I last saw her.

I've always known, especially from your icon, that this was a special scene in your heart, so I was very happy to offer it up for your birthday. :) It's a testament to the quality of the films that there are several moments that feel like they surely are in the books *somewhere*, only to find they're not. This is one for me, as well as Aragorn's speech at the Black Gates.
And thank you for the prayers for Michael Sullivan and his wife. When I have news to share, I'll be sure to do so.
