That's our Strider standing ready to give grief to all the idiots out here with their stupid fireworks.
Most folks here in the park realize and recognize the no fireworks rules; and there's a low tolerance in the city for the crap; but it's still legal and even last night some asshats down the street were shooting off bottle rockets. Illegal as hell and I can almost wish they'd burn themselves or their own houses down as a lesson in WHY they are illegal. *sighs*
Of all holidays in this country, I hate 7/4 the most. I understand the celebration (sort of) but for the love of God, they buy crap from China of all places and then burn the neighborhood, the city and the state and we're dry enough right now that we just don't need it. *sighs again*

My remark about "chinese fireworks" is strictly financial considering how much debt the USA owes to China. But yeah, I know they invented them LOL Most stands around here are supposedly selling for churches etc. Considering the Stupidity level though, I just wish they'd ban them completely. There are plenty of FREE professional shows out here to make everyone happy, unless, like me, ya hate loud noises. LOL
