Time passes...
It always amazes me how long I go between posting anything, especially since I opted to pay for this account long long ago. The thing is, I never know what to blog about. While I love to write I'm not that witty, especially not without an unhealthy dose of chocolate and lack of sleep. Nor do I do anything super interesting, at least, it doesn't seem that interesting to me.
At any rate, eh, I'll catch you up on the last year. Still in school, still pulling a 4.0 GPA (this is not something I'm planning on letting slide if I can help it), still planning on an engineering degree and have since settled on a focus of Mechanical engineering. This semester contains my first actual engineering class and includes three girls other than myself, which is three more than I expected. We may profess not to be a biased culture but the reality still stands that I'm a minority in this field and will have to work three times as hard for the position in the work force. I can deal with that. I've always liked striving harder.
Well, academically, at any rate. I've decided to work on the 'getting fit' thing. This being a goal that comes and goes with many conflicts. I'm not going to go into details, but I suddenly have need to lose more than a few pounds, and soon.
Let's see. The cats and I are still living with hoarders, but we've more than adjusted. And with much effort by all we've managed to get a few rooms in decent order, including the kitchen. Enough that we also got an internet line in. With those two things life is good. I also bought myself a good electric stand mixer and have taken up cooking from time to time.
The button making never got far. I'm constantly being thwarted by Adobe Illustrator! I think I need to get a tutorial book and a more recent copy of the program, but that is seriously expensive! And I am a poor college kid. A very poor college kid.
