walking in circles
Sometimes I feel like my life is in slow motion.
For example, take yesterday. Part of my responsibilities for living at my parents (not that this hasn't been my responsibility even when I wasn't living here) is to take my mother shopping. My mum likes to take her time and in her current health she can only be out for so long, so yesterday was a lot of back and forth.
In truth we only went to two stores, but it still took the whole day. And then, because she's attempting to change her diet (yet again) she had a whole list of specialized items she was searching for.
Normally I just wander along with her and spend a lot of time idly reading labels, but yesterday was much worse than normal. In fact, I'm fairly certain my eyes were glazed over for most of it. And the guy at Sprouts kept giving me strange looks.
On the plus side, my mum bought me a bag of rice crackers. Yum.
