...is going very well.

Though actually getting a chance to post this isn't.

After lots and lots of driving Dave and I along with our assortment of various animals, arrived safely here on the 6th. Upon arriving, we found the psuedo-manse much larger than expected and including a fenced in yard, much to our delight. We unloaded the truck in a little over two hours and spent the following week setting up the place. Lots of people from the church donated food and other various household goods for our use (including two excellent steaks) that made the moving in process much easier.

Now it looks like a real house (with the exception of the office which is awaiting the delivery of the bolts for the desk). Paintings are slowly being hung and there is much talk of plants being added - I am so excited about gardening!

We've also made several trips to the breeder of Dave's new husky puppy and he finally made his decision on which one we are taking home, but I'll let him tell you about that next time he posts. I do have pictures to go with his post though!

I have pictures of lots of things in fact, but they all remain on my camera. But soon, soon I shall post of New Years fun with play-testing Doug's game.

Books stuff:
210. Drowned Wednesday* Garth Nix
211. Sir Thursday* Garth Nix
212. Lady Friday* Garth Nix
213. Faerie Wars* Herbie Brennan
214. The Seventh Sentinal Mary Kirchoff

Then I ended my books for 2007 and began my books for 2008 with Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert which was the first time I had read it and I absolutely loved it. That was followed by Anne Lamott's new one Grace (Eventually).

Thefore, books for 2008 are so far:

1. Eat, Pray, Love* Elizabeth Gilbert
2. Grace (Eventually)* Anne Lamott
3. Singer of the Sea Sherri Tepper

More about the new job as I get time!
