Florida likes me so much that they are flying Dave and I down for a face-to-face interview at the end of the month. I can't wait. I really like this church: its active, growing and has a lot of social justice programs. It would just be so good in so many ways. So here's hoping!
Other not so happy news: not only am I allergic to Guam's mangos, I came back to the states to discover I'm allergic to ours too now (they come from mexico). Very sad. No more mango for me.
But happy news again is that Dave gets in Saturday! =P
Also Books! Which I am so far behind on. This is a rough estimate of what I've read. I know I've missed some stuff.
160. Zel* Donna Jo Napoli
161. Smoke and Mirrors Neil Gaiman
162. Mischief in Maggody* Joan Hess
163. Much Ado in Maggody* Joan Hess
164. Narcissis in Chains* Laurel K. Hamilton
165. Incubus Dreams* Laurel K. Hamilton
166. Micah* Laurel K. Hamilton
167. The Harlequin* Laurel K. Hamilton
168. The Cat who had Sixty Whiskers* Lillian Jackson Braun
169. The Theif of Time* Clive Barker
167. The Looking Glass Wars* Frank Beddor
168. Arabian Nights* Annonymous (Absolutely fascinating read. Much like fairy tales in all other parts of the world, this story differs in the way each one is nestled inside another. Very interesting)
And that's all I can remember currently. I am also still plodding slowly along on my theology books, having nearly finished The Unnecessary Pastor by Eugene Peterson. Currently I'm looking for some good youth resources. Any idea pastor folk?
