Normal?
Our normal schedule: Matthew works Monday through Friday from 0800 - 1630 or later. Until they hire more help, he will work till 1800 on Fridays.
I work Monday through Friday from midnight to 0800. Which means I go to work at midnight Monday night. And work until 8 am Saturday mornining.
Daily schedule
Monday:
0500 Matthew gets up and showers
0530 - 0730 Dogs fed, put out or walked, chickens and stable fed and tended and Matthew changes
0730 Matthew leaves for work
0500 - 1630 Depends on what I have to do that day. Barn fed and tended, poop picked up, grocery runs, cook food for the week, make the dog food for the evening meal.
1700 Amy goes to sleep
1700 - 2200 Matthew feeds the dogs, brings in the outside dogs to eat, takes them back out for about 2 hours, walks the ones that need it, brings in all dogs and kennels them around 2100 and eats dinner somewhere during that time. Also if any of the big animals needs a evening tending, he does that.
2200 Amy gets up, Matthew goes to sleep.
2300 Amy gets ready for work, gives the dogs their bedtime meds, and heads to work.
Tuesday through Friday normal
0500 Matthew gets up and showers
0530 - 0730 Dogs fed, put out or walked, chickens and stable fed and tended and Matthew changes
0730 Matthew leaves for work
0800 Amy gets off from work
0800 - 1400 Amy feeds barn, does chores, and makes vet runs. (and when one vet run is 2 hours one way that takes all my free time)
1400 - Make sure dog food is set for the evening, give Bilbo his midday pill, and Amy sleeps
1700 - 2200 Matthew feeds the dogs, brings in the outside dogs to eat, takes them back out for about 2 hours, walks the ones that need it, brings in all dogs and kennels them around 2100 and eats dinner somewhere during that time. Also if any of the big animals needs a evening tending, he does that.
2200 Amy gets up, Matthew goes to sleep.
2300 Amy gets ready for work, gives the dogs their bedtime meds, and heads to work.
Saturday
0600 Matthew gets up

0800 Amy gets off from work

1630 Prepare dog food for evening feeding
1700 Feed dogs, bring in outside dogs to eat then take them back out, feed people
1800 or 1900 Amy goes to sleep.
2100 Matthew puts dogs to bed in their kennels, walks the last time for the specials.
2200 Give Bilbo his nighttime pill and goes to bed.
Sunday
0600 We both get up (I am usually up by 3 working on computer records for the farm)

Some weeks I am so busy I do not see home from when I leave at 11 pm until I crash at 2pm. Days like today I run home long enough to feed the barn, then leave again and will be back in time to sleep, I hope. Some days I cannot get into bed until after 4pm... makes for a freaking long night.
