Okay, follow post to an earlier post about this same topic, because I just can't help but being constantly disgusted by this story

Wait, are you telling me that Muslims are overreacting in a completely inappropriate and ineffective way?!? That's unpossible!

Also how the hell would an Egyptian pig get a disease that originated in Mexico? Unless they import pigs from there, which seems unlikely.

The Egyptian government took a opportunity to punish a small minority in their population. A minority that they consider 'undesirables'. Thats what the pig killing was all about. It wasn't about Muslims, that was just a red herring.

Oh, cool. What was the minority? Surely not the pigs themselves?

Coptic christians. The only people in Egypt that raise pigs. When I say that Islam is a red herring, thats probably not entirely accurate.

I suppose the Egyptian govt. isn't compensating them for their loss? Either way that would suck. Sometimes I wonder why people don't move. Then I remember that I'm an atheist living in Utah.
