The Day Kicked In and Wussed Out

Nov 09, 2010 05:03

don't we get it yet, that LIFE's in-between is IF and love spelt backwards is a devilish wordplay of Evol-Evil? if only "if" only denotes uncertainly, it would mean only living within a community of assured uncertainty, it would definitely make this world a more surprising (translate exciting) place to be in but no
because "if" cousins out to its sick magnetic lure towards hope, if she comes in and gives me a smile....; hope. on the other hand, love is evol (courtesy of one Eminem song which paved the idea for me), i began to wonder if who invented love first, the devil or the god? it seems to be more likely to be neither, because i think that we invented it ourselves while we were sick of nothingess one day and decide that it's interesting to love each other, so we try to mimic the love (mimesis! plato!) from our home at first then we extend our study outwards and see how others are coping with love
some terrible you know, some love too much, too carelessly, too generously, (love is stingy)
some nailed it and reaped the same kind of nailing-it from the other and fairy-taled their way with happily ever after trumpeting in every morning's embrace (love is singular)

of course, besides being singular and stingy, it must have disguised itself in many ways too, for you to uncloth one day (or never at all), and perhaps pay the fee of unclothing it over some cigarettes? alcohol? some closed door sobbing? some self-inflict indifference? we are constantly on the ship and it's hard to tell when to anchor.

~ on other news,

Starbucks at Holland Village Today: 630pm
Still At Starbucks at Holland Village Today: 1030pm
Wendy's at Holland Village (with immediate effect abbreviated to "HV" to save computer ink): 1040pm

Activities Happened between 630pm to 1030pm: Inward Reading of "Life Isn't All Ha Ha Hee Hee' (outward would mean I read Out Loud would mean I'm rather Proud and not Shameful)

Pages Conquered during considered timeframe: Approximately 60

Number of Fries Conquered during Wendy's at HV: Approximately 60, too

Afterwhich,

Having failed us due to lack of desire to operate 24hrs, Starbucks at HV gave way to fatigue at 11pm and hence student-turned-refugee individuals namely Roy, Stella and myself (Caine), ventured on Coffeebean at HV to seduce Coffeebean at HV with our occasional walk-ins towards the inside toilet. Oh, it is 24 hrs. Thus,

Coffeebean (haven't yet been abbreviated previously, but now shall I appoint it as The 24hrs CB): 11pm to 230am

Activites Happened between the current considered timeframe: Inward Reading of "Life Isn't All Ha Ha Hee Hee" (outward would mean i read Out Loud would mean I insist on being Proud and not Shameful)

Pages Conquered during current considered, and then considered timeframe: Approximately 50

Time Spent and Pages Conquered at Starbucks: 4 hours and Approximately 60
Time Spent and Pages Conquered at 24hrs CB: 3.5 hours and Approximately 50
Average Speed of Reading at Starbucks: 60/4 = 15 pages/hr (sneering is allowed Now)
Average Speed of Reading at 24hrs CB: 50/3.5= 14.285714 pages/hr (24hrs CB bags 2nd place, Congrats!)

Ceteris paribus,

On average I have 6 novels per mod.
In reality I have 5 lit mods this semester.
Multiply that would mean 30 novels.
Assuming on average each novel has 200 pages.
Multiply that would mean 200x30= 6,000 pages.
Divide that would mean 6,000 by 15= 400 hours
Divide that would mean 400 by 24 = 16.6 sixsixsixsixsixsix 7 days
That's if I don't sleep, don't eat, don't talk, don't smoke, don't move (too much), don't stand just sit or don't sit just stand, don't walk, don't even blink....

wah lau so stress.
