Merlin
For those of you who give a damn, I am rubbish at summaries so here is a promo:
Anyway, here is an official summary:
Putting a new spin on the story of the infamous sorcerer Merlin, this BBC series shows the dramatic outcomes of living in a time of myth and magic. Set in the Kingdom of Camelot, the story follows young Merlin's dangerous journey as he, a young prince Arthur and other characters come face to face with legendary and fantastical characters and forces.
When first coming across this show, I believed it was doomed to be campy. I mean come on, Merlin? That old geezer with that long beard and pointy hat? I was skeptical. However, this show surprised me. The acting is great, the scripts give you both incite to character and brilliant plot, and even the cgi and sets are well executed.
Also, almost all of the main characters are gorgeous....and I don't mean "required taste" gorgeous, I mean there is really a guy and girl for every type. Really pretty people. AND Anthony head is in this!!! And he is brilliant. ( buffy fan)
This show has charisma, and is good for both fantasy lovers and normal people alike. If you want to watch something new, you should give the pilot a try. The first season is on Hulu.
