Happy thoughts
Just going for a walk, nothing major, though my destination might cause some troubles for people.
Over the next rise I can see it, the old family home. Looks nice, couple improvements made here and there, can't wait to see Chuck. Come around the side and slam through the wall, knocking furniture and students left and right. Looks like they were gathered around the television for a movie or something.
Whoop-de-fucking-doo!
That Rahne kid turns into a dog and jumps at me but I backhand the little bitch halfway through a wall. Then Iceman tries to freeze me but he only annoys me so I head his way. He's backpeddling for all he's worth but he's running outta room. I just corner him, snow piling up around us, and step on him with a very satisfying crunch.
There's a massive blast of red behind me, shoving me hard into the wall, almost through it to the kid's credit. Turn and see that Cyclops brat uncorking another one at me but I'm ready for it this time. Electricity crackles around me, probably Storm, and I catch metal glinting in the lights around the room off that russkie.
Keep heading to Cyclops, who's backing out the hole I made in the wall to get in here. He wants it outside, fine for me. I can come back in later.
I get outside and he jumps and rolls to the side as the full fury of a storm cloud blasts down on me. Kinda pretty, so much for lighting never striking the same place twice theory. It's not doing me any harm but just so these kids don't get overconfident, I snap them back to reality. Storm's behind me, just about to take off as she gets outside. I pick up a motorcycle and toss it right at her. She dodges but Colossus slams it down. knocking parts all over the place. Car blocking his view just long enough for me to step in close and grab him around the waist. I fling him high above me and slam him into the driveway. The others open up on me but nothing's gonna stop me from savoring this. I stomp my foot in his face, grab him by both legs, hauling him upside down, and make a wish.
The screams of shock just egg me on. I head for Storm, who's above me but in range. Seen the Hulk do this a hundred times; clap my hands together which damn near ruptures the ears of everyone around me. Storm is definitely shaken and starts to fall and I'm there to catch her. A good old bear hug and she's gone. Cyclops opens up on me again, over by the house. I turn and take my time getting close to him. He's really pouring it on.
Right in his face, reach out and take his head in my hand and just crush it. Brains all over the place and I'm not even slowed down. A growl above means Wolverine's getting into this, jumped off the roof and comes down hard, his claws tearing through my armor and cutting deep. No big deal, I heal immediately and drop kick him into the river a mile off.
That's about it for the big guns, most of the rest are students and they're not even coming at me. I turn back into the house and they scatter in all directions. Couple take shots at me but I don't care. Just want to see my dear, sweet step-brother.
Head for his study, tear the double doors outta the way and there he is. sitting at his desk calmly like this happens everyday. Feel him battering at my head just from outside the armor, his power just sliding off me. I smile and head to him.
An icy feeling on my left arm makes me pause, it's that Rogue kid. Can feel her soaking me up but she can't take it, she's tried this before and she can't soak up much more than a bit of my strength as my powers mostly magical. I break her legs by stamping sideways and walk up to that baldy pieace of crap.
" G'night, bro!" I yell as I punch him in the chest full strength watching him liquefy and pour all over the place. It's everything I've ever wanted.
A blast of energy like nothing I've ever been hit with before picks me up and slams me through a wall. There's this fiery aspect to it, which tells me who it is but I never figured the bitch had that kind of power to her, despite the rumors. Lifts me through 3 walls, probably going to make the rest of the place fall and crush the kids, but she's pissed beyond all caring. Slams me into the ground outside as I finally see her flying down at me from way up high; Phoenix.
Frail's got some power, I'll give her that.
She lets me have it all in unrelenting waves, almost makes me feel like I'm moving backwards. Shrug it off and start advancing on her and while I'm making progress, gotta admit she's slowing me down. Off in the distance I can see that clawed runt on his way for another shot at me. Can't hardly see for all the power she's cutting loose with but I know I'll get her in the end. Can just about reach her, I think, when this ringing goes off in my ears...
Slam out at the noise to my left, pulverising the bed table and my alarm clock.
Just a dream.
