I'm starting to think that the world works in circles that sometimes unravel into one another. Sometimes those circles are like BIG GIANT BALLS OF YARN that are so impossible to unravel without a little tug. The one thing you can always count on in life is death and taxes. Anyways, when you start getting to your mid-twenties and older is when you notice the people who were always around are the ones that are dying off.

I don't know your doctors well enough, but it's possible they genuinely don't know what's going on with your grandmother and are going through the lists of illnesses that fit her symptoms. It's not easy to look at a whole slew of symptoms and say, "Ah-hah! It's Blahblahblah!" Did you know Lupus fits almost every symptom? :P That's usually what doctors test for first, and then they go through the list of illnesses that are the most prominent in people of her age and group of people (e.g. women).

But such is life. Stuff is always happening.
