I wish circumstances would allow me to be less cynical

a few weeks ago my roomate and I got pissed (drunk) and performed a series of pagan spells to protect our new house from a specific unwanted guest. The next morning we attended service at Martin luther King Baptist church to ask for salvation. Now I'm wishing that we'd asked the forces that be to protect us and our home from all forms of evil and unwanted guests.
Maybe we should have stuck with the pagan rituals instead.
