A Year in Review
I finished the hat i was knitting last night.
It is virtually flawless ( a first for me)...
I have decided that i rather enjoy pairing the sat-prep type vocabulary words
that have become part of my common speech with the word "hella" as an intensifier...
We hella live in Oakland, bitches...
there was an earthquake today, but I didn't feel it...
i have a steaming cup of tea on the counter
and i am more content thinking about it than drinking it...
It's saturday night and I am stil wearing my Model Arab league suit and heels.
Fuck this. I need a beer...
a cinco de mayo street faire and some coronas...
chased sidewalker crabs along the beach...
There were a few other firsts that i cannot recall...
note: the sign behind me says "Menudo Sale! / and/ Car Wash"...
she must have been a few months pregnant with me in the photo, but I wasn't showing...
I am now nicely settled in my new chinese home...
I should be reading about daoism, but instead I am sitting here at the computer,
digesting my oysters.
