So, finally, on Thanksgiving, it's snowing!!!!!!! I can't begin to describe how ecstatic I was when I opened my eyes this morning and saw that everything was was white and snow was falling.
Its been a pretty good Thanksgiving, considering that I'm this far from home. When I finally stopped watching the snow from my bed, I sat in the lounge, watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and sipped vanilla tea while eating donuts. Around noon, I went to the Thanksgiving lunch put on by the culture center and met some other ppl who decided to stay here for the break. All in all, I think there's like only 30 or less of us on campus right now. Campus is so quiet, its eerie and peaceful at the same time. I'm the only one on my floor, too.
So after this Thanksgiving lunch, we played in the snow, built wicked forts, played soccer on the foot-deep snow, had a snowball fight, made snow angels, and built a person-sized snowman. Then we made tea and talked about the Bush regime (so Hampshire...) while warming up.
So now I think I'm gonna actually start my final projects and then see if anything's going on this evening.
