Home!
We are now HOME!!!!!!!!
We actually came home yesterday around lunchtime, but I didn't get a chance to get online and post here. The house was of course a wreck, but the doctor said I am not allowed to clean or do anything for another week-HA! I thought about that as I was washing bottles at the sink, lol! Larkyn is doing well, she is glad to be home! She likes her big girl bed a lot better than the little hospital bucket they had her in. Brittany said she is NOW officially a Big Sister, it wasn't official until the baby came home, lol. Larykn is eating well, sleeping well, and staying awake a little bit during the day, woohoo! At night she pretty much wakes up, eats, and goes right back to sleep. Good girl. We gave her her first bath today (well from us, the hospital washed her as well, but shh!). She wasn't very impressed but she smells good now! I'm still really tired, but we all slept a LOT better being at home last night. Even with waking up to feed her, I feel more rested. I'm going to try and take a nap sometime today. "More rested" than at the hospital isn't necesarily 'caught up on sleep' lol.
Hopefully now that we are home and getting into a routine I will be around more again! Just SOOO glad to be out of the hospital! I know a week isn't long compared to what a lot of people have to do, but man it was more than long enough!
