Ice Cream!
OK so something finally got accomplished today! After the fiasco earlier, we came home and watched a VERY stupid movie on tv. Totally pointless. Then we went to BabiesRUs and picked out two strollers we like, now I just need to compare their reviews online! Then we went to my dad's for dinner. Hubby cooked out on the grill and we all chatted for a bit. Then we decided to go to Coldstone Creamery for dessert, yummy yummy! It's inside the mall where my dad needed to return his shorts, so we took those with us. The store we bought them at didn't have any shorts that fit him well. He said "I guess I can force these to work" but I wouldn't let him exchange it for those pair. You don't 'force' your pants to fit :p Hubby bought some stuff there and I just got a refund on my dad's stuff. Since I had paid with a credit card, they put the money back on my card. I knew it would be forever before I could get him back out, so I took him to another store that I KNEW had the shorts he wanted. He kept saying "We don't have to go tonight" because it was getting late, but I knew if we didn't do it tonight, we'd never get around to it. So then we found the correct shorts, with the funky little cell phone pocket that he loves so much. THEN we finally got my ice cream! I was soooo tired by the time we got to the ice cream place. We had walked around the entire mall by this point, and I am not made to do that right now, lol. My tummy was so hard and not quite hurting.. but not NOT hurting either. Yes that makes sense. Hubby wanted ice cream to go but I suggested we eat it there because I needed to just SIT for awhile, lol. It was 9:30 by the time we left, oy! But we got a lot accomplished.
Britt called while we were at the mall. She has a very very very VERY loose tooth and wanted to know if it was OK to wiggle it and try and pull it. Nana had said she can't pull it, so she wanted my advice,lol. I said Nana was wrong and she can pull it if she wants. If the tooth fairy doesn't want to come in Florida, she can come after Britt gets back home. I'm hoping Brittany is having fun. This is the 2nd time today that all the kids went to the pool and she stayed inside without them. I talked to Aly earlier and she said she made a store. I asked what she was selling and she said she wasn't selling anything, she was giving therapy to people and helping them with their problems. She said Nana needed therapy and so did Shelby, and she helped them both. Hubby teased her and said "Yeah you need to help Nana a lot, she has a TON of problems." He thinks he is funny. After she helped my mom with her problem, Alamanda told my mom to 'come back in a week and let her know how her advice helped'. They all come home tomorrow.
