I has a placement!
I'm going to be in Numazu City in Shizuoka Prefecture (yes, I read the part about the earthquake). You can see Numazu on a map here and read more about Shizuoka here. It sounds really cool! There are 24 other ALTs in my area, so it shouldn't be hard to make friends. The location of the city should be very convenient for retaking the LSATs in Tokyo in October. And I no longer need to worry about the risk of getting stuck out in the boondocks - nor will I need a car. Huzzah!
